(Catholic Life Application of Sacraments & Service)?
God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean taking steps toward belonging to our church faith family, receiving your sacraments of initiation, committing to digging into the Bible each day, discovering how God wants to use you to help others, or just learning more about God’s plan for your life. Corpus Christi’s classes are all about those next steps…
CLASS 101 – Come and See (Discovering our Church Family)
You were designed to be a part of a church family, and that’s exactly what Corpus Christi is intended to be – your family. A healthy family has common beliefs, purposes, and commitment. That’s why we want to share with you what we believe and where we’re going.
This
basic introduction to our church faith family is designed to clearly explain who and what Corpus Christi is. You’ll learn about the church’s teachings on salvation, our parish’s statements of purpose, and Corpus Christi’s strategy and structure. You’ll also hear about the five biblical purposes which are necessary to fulfilling God’s calling for your life, and the plans for the future of Corpus Christi. At the end of the class, you’ll be given the opportunity to sign our Core Values Covenant.

CLASS 201 – Follow Me (Discovering My Spiritual Maturity)
We're always being told what to do to be healthy physically or mentally, but when was the last time someone told you how to grow in spiritual health?
CLASS 201 is all about five basic habits that every Christian needs to develop in order to grow towards spiritual maturity. Not only will we explain these habits and their significance in your life, but we will also equip you with skills and tools necessary to jumpstart and continue these habits.
PREREQUISITE: BECAUSE THE CLASSES BUILD ON EACH OTHER, YOU MUST ATTEND CLASS 101 BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND CLASS 201.

CLASS 301 – Walk With Me (Discovering My Ministry)
We believe that every member of our church is a minister. God didn’t intend for ministry to be done by just those with seminary degrees….He’s called you too!
CLASS 301 was designed to help you figure out which ministry fits you best – we call this “discovering your S.H.A.P.E.” During this class, you will learn how you can use your Spiritual Gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences to minister to others. You will complete and submit your SHAPE profile; a member of the Purpose Driven team will then contact you about setting up an appointment with one of our SHAPE Discovery Guides. This guide will meet with you to go over your profile and see which Corpus Christi ministries you are SHAPEd to join--or create!
PREREQUISITE: BECAUSE THE CLASSES BUILD ON EACH OTHER, YOU MUST ATTEND CLASSES 101 & 201 BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND CLASS 301.

CLASS 401 – Go and Tell (Discovering My Life Mission)
God has created you for a specific mission–but what is it?
CLASS 401 is designed to teach you God’s mission in the world, and by extension, your mission in the world. Learn how your personal spiritual journey can be condensed into a 3-minute testimony that you can share with those who may be searching for a way to jumpstart their own spiritual journeys. Best of all, you’ll see that being a “fisher of men and women” is one of the most exciting and rewarding things you can do in life!
PREREQUISITE: BECAUSE THE CLASSES BUILD ON EACH OTHER, YOU MUST ATTEND CLASS 101, 201 AND 301, and COMPLETE your SHAPE Discovery Session BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND CLASS 401.
CLASS sessions are onsite at the parish.
They are generally offered on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 12noon Mass, and a sandwich lunch is provided. Because booklets must be printed, and additional supplies and food must be ordered, we ask that you register for CLASS ahead of time so that we have everything ready for you.
