La Cena dinner is a Summer evening for our Corpus Christi parish families and friends to gather on our lawn for food, music, and fellowship.  

Attendees are invited to bring an appetizer and some wine to share with those at your table.

Dinner will be presented “buffet style” with platters of salad, plain pasta, bowls of homemade marinara sauce, sausages with peppers, and plenty of crusty bread! We are asking you to bring a dessert to share at the “community dessert table”.

The evening will begin with music provided by a DJ...The DJ will play music for the cocktail/social hour, then move into dinner music and finally dance music.

Pre-paid advance reservations will be required for the evening.

$30 per adult (age 15 and up),

$20 for children (age 10-14), 

$15 for our youngest (age 2-9),

Wonderful appetizing and refreshing martinis will be available for only $8.00 each.

2014 Pastoral Council Applications

 

Our Pastoral Council is seeking new members. The Pastoral Council serves in a consultative relationship with the Pastor. It is the role of the Pastoral Council to investigate, discern, and recommend to the Pastor suggestions involving the faith life of the parish.

 

The Pastoral Council sets long range goals for the parish through a prayerful discernment process. Pastoral matters appropriate to the Pastoral Council include the following seven elements of parish life: Evangelization, Worship, Word, Community, Service, Stewardship, and Leadership.

 

At this time members are chosen by the Pastor. Perspective members must be baptized, practicing Catholics, registered in the parish, who embrace the teachings of Vatican II. Father is looking for parishioners who are concerned about the faith life of the whole parish, who are able to study, reflect  prayerfully, work in a group setting and able to commit to a three-year term beginning in September of 2014. The Pastoral Council meets monthly (usually the 1st Tuesday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm) for two hours.

 

 If you are interested in serving on the Pastoral Council you may apply. Applications may be found on the concierge table in the Grand Hall, in the parish offices or you can download them from here.  click here to download application.

Amount Pledged: $309,733.67

Monies Collected: $146,964.80

Rebate Total: $41,594.06

 

To all who have given their donation - thank you!

 

Because we have met our diocesan assessment of $88,000,

from now on all monies pledged to PSA will come directly to Corpus Christi


To all those who are still discerning - we will be happy to accept your pledge any time!  

You can place your pledge in the Sunday Offertory basket or give it to Father Tim.

If you are unable to pledge at this time - please pray for the success of the campaign!
