Boy Scout Troop 700

Boy Scout Troop 700

Troop 700 Mission Statement

To serve God, country, and community; and to provide a quality Boy Scout program to the families of Aliso Viejo, and to the surrounding communities, as ambassadors of God’s grace through service to others. Our primary goal is to cultivate, throughout our entire membership, all of the many fine virtues that Scouting has to offer as a life-long commitment to the ethical and moral standards of the Boy Scouts of America. Furthermore, we strive to create a positive environment that nurtures self-awareness of individual potential, the desire to be a team player, the opportunity to be a leader, the character for making better choices, and a high self-esteem for continued success, as it is exemplified through our parental involvement.

The boys range in age from sixth grade to 18 years old, and hail from various faith backgrounds. Although many were Cub Scouts when younger, that isn’t a prerequisite.
