SOUP AND STATIONS OF THE CROSS
As is our tradition, we will have Soup and Stations of the Cross during Fridays in Lent.
As done previously, donations collected during each Friday’s Soup and Stations of the Cross will be sent to a particular charity. This year, our parish has chosen the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton. We will help purchase New Testament Pocket Bibles for new Marines in this School of Infantry. We are honored to help our Marines grow in their faith!
6pm-7pm: Soup and Sacrifice – A non-meat soup and bread are prepared by a ministry to be served from our Corpus Christi kitchen. We ask people to donate what they would spend for a Friday night dinner to help pay for the pocket bibles.
7pm-8pm: Stations of the Cross – At the Grand Hall, the scheduled ministry team leads the Stations of the Cross. The ministry provides enough Stations of the Cross handouts for everyone participating.
