Everyone is invited to attend the Wall Raising event for the Catholic Coalition’s Habitat for Humanity houses this Saturday, March 24. 
The Wall Raising event marks the beginning of volunteer construction activities on the build site at 140 South A Street in Tustin.  From 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, before the hammers start to swing, ceremonial activities will occur and will include our own Fr. Tim presenting a check for $150,000 to the leader of Habitat for Humanity OC. Framing work will begin around 9:00 AM after all but the registered volunteers have moved off of the build site.

If you would like to attend the celebration, here are some noteworthy details:

      · Everyone entering the build site must wear closed toe, hard sole shoes.  Hiking boots are okay.

      · There will be many people there so please carpool and park away from the site (to mitigate the impact on the neighbors).

      · Wear your Catholic Coalition t-shirts.  Let us know if you’d like to purchase shirts.

Regular Catholic Coalition build days will be the second Saturday of each month though the entire project (about a year).  Volunteer opportunities are available NOW for April 14 and May 12.  Please don’t hesitate to sign up.  On the Habitat for Humanity page of the parish website you will find a link to VolunteerHub as well as a link to instructions to register on VolunteerHub.
