You DO NOT need to be a member of First Saturday Men’s Fellowship
Please bring paint brushes, rollers, putty, tape, and any typical painting supplies/tools
For landscaping & clean-up, please bring tools and a roll of trash bags
Here is the original message from First Saturday Men’s Fellowship:
Now the body is not a single part, but many. Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.
1 Corinthians 12:14,27
We are the Body of Christ, Corpus Christi, and each of us is called to use our unique gifts of the Spirit as a part of the Body of Christ. Here’s a great opportunity to do just that. We will have a Day of Service at Isaiah House in Santa Ana on Saturday January 30 (yes, this coming Saturday). This will be a fantastic opportunity to have a first-hand experience with the paradox of service: you’ll receive more than you give!
Tom DeSantis (firstname.lastname@example.org) is our leader on this endeavor and you must let him know if you plan to participate.
Tom & Jerry (no, not the cat and the mouse, DeSantis & Toice) completed a recon mission to Isaiah House and returned with a list of projects for us to do there. Please review the list below and let Tom know if you’re able to take the lead on something. Even if you don’t have any particular skills related to these projects, we need guys like you too!
