Following a groundswell of community response to the tragic death of Britany Maynard, a young women diagnosed with terminal brain cancer that travelled to Oregon to end her life, several state senators have introduced the End of Life Option Act (SB 128) that would allow California physicians to prescribe life ending barbiturates to assist patients in committing suicide.
Join fellow community members and faith leaders as we discuss a compassionate response to this current legislative push to legalize physician assisted suicide and as we seek to educate and form Catholics with regard to approaching the end of life with humility, courage and
