Session 4 – Grow: You Were Created to Become Like Christ

In this session, we will cover the third reason God made you: you were created to be like Christ. We call that “grow”. God made you to transform you into a likeness of his son, Jesus Christ.

God is far more interested in what you are than in what you do. He’s far more interested in your being than in your doing. A lot of people ask, “What is God’s will for my life in my job or my career?” Do you know what – you could probably have 2 dozen different careers and God would say that’s fine. God is more interested in your character. Because you’re not taking your career into eternity, you are taking your character.

So God’s goal here on earth is more about what you become than what you do because it’s what you become that you take into heaven.

Father Tim is asking us to join him, and your parish family, for these 40 Days of Purpose because God wants to do something significant in your life and in the life of the parish. We don’t want you to miss out on what amazing thing God has in store for you! Our 40 Days of Purpose will bring each and every one of us closer to God and to His incredible Corpus Christi family.

Father is asking us to set aside the following Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

September 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and October 3rd, 10th

We hope that you’ll be able to participate for all 40 days, because we have no doubt that if you do, God will do something incredible in your life. Let’s discover it together!

40 Days of Purpose Registration Form

There is NO COST to 40 Days of Purpose, but we need you to register so we have enough materials and supplies.
The registration form may be filled out online and then printed OR print and then clearly hand fill out.
Return completed form to the 40 Days of Purpose Information table after any weekend Masses, email to alyssaeugenio@corpuschristialisoviejo.org , hand deliver or snail mail to the parish office ( 27231 Aliso Viejo Parkway, Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656).
