Mark your calendars for this legendary Corpus Christi tradition that brings us together in a delicious and a delightful way…
For those who are new to our community, the way it works is the parish purchases about 50 turkeys and distributes them to our volunteer “cookers” on the weekend of November 21st and 22nd. These volunteers return the roasted turkeys on Monday night… the rest of us bring a side dish – a potluck of sorts – just make sure your side dish can feed between 12 to 15 people.
Dinner gets underway on Monday, November 25th at 6:00 pm in the Grand Hall.
Mr. Scotte Eisenbart is once again coordinating services for the dinner, if you would like to be part of the team, please talk with him after any weekend Mass.
Did we mention this is a FREE family-friendly event?!?!
ALL are welcome!!!
You know that person whom you’ve always wanted to invite to church, but you’re afraid because you don’t want them to have a bad experience???? This is the perfect event to invite them to – there’s no pressure and it’s not too “churchy”… in fact it’s the perfect event to show what a warm and welcoming community Corpus Christi really is! Take the chance – invite them to come with you… Bring family, friends, neighbors, EVERYONE!!
This is a wonderful opportunity for our Corpus Christi family to come together and give thanks for all the blessings God has and is bestowing upon our community.
Sign-up tables and sheets will be outside after all the Masses this weekend, so please sign up! Scotte will also be at the information tables to answer any questions you may have.
