Ways You Can Serve

Several nonprofit organizations could use your time and money to make sure vulnerable populations are cared for during the pandemic. Read this article from the Washington Post on ways you can help today.
South County Outreach is in need of volunteers to staff and stock their Food Bank.
To help keep all of our neighbors well-nourished during this crisis, please see volunteer opportunities.
Stock Up, Then Stop!
It’s tempting to respond to footage of panicked shoppers sweeping shelves of toilet paper into their carts by mentally tabulating how many pallets you might be able to stuff into your own closets. But panic buying just contributes to shortages – and more panic. If you already have 30 days worth of prescriptions, food, and household supplies at home, please stop shopping.
Care Callers
Make encouraging phone calls to your family members and friends affected by the virus. These calls are an opportunity to pray with your loved ones, provide spiritual support, and see if there is any other way you can support them.

Stay Healthy / Stay Informed

In a crisis like this, it’s common for misinformation to spread, and it can be difficult to figure out who and what to trust. here are some reliable resources that can connect you with accurate and helpful information.
