Dear Corpus Christi Faith Family,

You’re invited to 40 Days Of Purpose – A Parish Spiritual Renewal

This summer marks the 50th anniversary since the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon, and the famous words of astronaut Neil Armstrong: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

This September, Corpus Christi will be launching its first-ever 40 Day parish-wide spiritual renewal – 40 Days of Purpose

In the Bible, 40 days is a spiritually significant time period. Whenever God wanted to do something of significance in a person’s life, it took 40 days.

Jesus was transformed for ministry by 40 days in the desert.
The disciples’ lives were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after the resurrection.
As Catholics we are familiar with our annual 40 days of Lent, a time set aside for spiritual renewal.

As your pastor, I am asking you to join me, and your parish family, for these 40 Days of Purpose because God wants to do something significant in your life and in the life of the parish. I don’t want you to miss out on what amazing thing God has in store for you! Our 40 Days of Purpose will bring each and every one of us closer to God and to His incredible Corpus Christi family.

I am asking us to set aside the following Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

September 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and October 3rd, 10th

I hope that you’ll be able to participate for all 40 days, because I have no doubt that if you do, God will do something incredible in your life. Let’s discover it together!

FREE Childcare will be provided (Yes, you read that right, childcare is FREE!!)

40 Days of Purpose Registration Form

~ There is NO COST to 40 Days of Purpose, but we need you to register so we have enough materials and supplies.
~ The registration form may be filled out online and then printed OR print and then clearly hand fill out.
~ Return completed form to the 40 Days of Purpose Information table after any weekend Masses, email to alyssaeugenio@corpuschristialisoviejo.org, hand deliver or snail mail to the parish office ( 27231 Aliso Viejo Parkway, Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656).
