Ambassadors for Christ

Dear People of God,
One of the most important calls that Christ gives His church is to be welcoming to people.  We are His ambassadors…. Jesus uses us to be His welcoming arms to draw people from the outside into His presence! This Ministry of Hospitality has the role of being His ambassador.
Who are Hospitality Ministers, and what do we do?
~ We act as AMBASSADORS – greeting our parish community
at every Mass as we follow St. Paul’s instruction to “welcome
one another as Christ has welcomed you” (Rom 15:7).
~ We take up the OFFERTORY/COLLECTION during the Mass.
~ We are like SHEPHERDS wishing to ensure the safety of our
parish community. We act as “first responders” during emergencies.
~ We help keep our parish community INFORMED by handing
out bulletins at the conclusion of the Mass.
~ Volunteers may serve at their usual Mass of attendance.
Does this ministry sound like a good “fit” for you? If you would like to serve in this ministry or want to know more, please contact Stacey Settelmayer at 949.297.8517 or email her at:
*All potential volunteers must be fingerprinted and safe environment trained.
