Here’s a painless – and free – way to help Corpus Christi raise money for the parish building fund. When you use scrip and e-scrip to make everyday purchases (groceries, Starbucks lattes, movie tickets, restaurant meals, and more), a percentage of the money gets rebated to the church. Here’s how it works:

Scrip

Corpus Christi obtains gift certificates at a discounted price from various stores, restaurants, theaters, and merchants. We then sell those gift cards to parishioners at face value, which translates into a profit of 2% to 15% for the church, depending on the merchant. To buy gift certificates for your favorite shops and restaurants, stop by the scrip table after any Mass. Scrip gift cards also make excellent birthday and holiday presents. And please note that the Scrip ministry welcomes volunteers to help sell gift certificates after Masses.

eScrip

This program funnels a percentage of credit, debit, and club card purchases at participating merchants to Corpus Christi. To sign up, visit eScrip’s website https://secure.escrip.com/jsp/supporter/registration/step1.jsp , type in Corpus Christi’s ID number (137833431), and register as many credit, debit and grocery club cards as you wish.
