Swinging bats at a soft, stitched orb might sound like an odd ministry, but Corpus Christi’s coed and men’s softball teams have inspired friendships, promoted fitness, and even brought new members to the church. The teams have also won several league championships. The coed squad usually plays summer and fall seasons in a diocesan-sponsored league with games in Irvine. The men’s team plays year-round in a city league in Laguna Hills.
