As Corpus Christi’s official outreach to some of our less fortunate neighbors, Hands Across the County offers assistance to:

• San Felipe de Jesus. Teams of volunteers take turns preparing and serving meals to homeless and low-income people on Sundays at this Capistrano Beach Catholic church.
• Isaiah House. HAC provides clothing, food, scrip, and other items to homeless families at this Santa Ana shelter.
• St. Polycarp, our sister parish, in Stanton. Programs include a Christmastime adopt-a-family campaign in which Corpus Christi parishioners donate clothing and gifts; and a back-to-school drive that sends classroom necessities to parochial school students.
• St. Joseph motel kids. An annual fundraiser to help buy shoes for children whose families live in local motels.
